Frenchman seeks American boy
Dear Brian, I am French and want to meet an American boy. I do not really use computers very well but I try. I am an artist and dancer living in London and I'm always abroad for my job. So I need a man like me; an artist but really engaged in our relationship even if we have to be far from each other for a while. - Terry212
Dear Terry212, An artist and dancer living in London shouldn’t find it too difficult to meet an American boy with exchange students, ex-patriots and the like milling about in the U.K. Being a member of the arts community is always helpful since who is more open-minded about sexuality than artists? But I take it that when you say you travel "abroad," you mean the United States. If you’re always on the move, a relationship can be difficult, but I would suspect there are other gypsies, including a fair number of gay male gypsies, who you should be able to meet at home and on the road. Wherever you are, get out to the hot spots - galleries, coffee shops, nightclubs and the like that attract members of the local creative community. Also, post your profile here at Date.com where you may get lucky and meet an American boy with a lifestyle compatible with your own. Still, it’s going to be difficult since relationships are generally synonymous with stability. Stability and constant travel do not tend to go hand-in-hand. Most relationships on that order are long distance ones. Long distance relationships work for some couples, but for others, the distance is the only thing "long" about them.
