Smitten With A Sex God

Dear Brian,
I fancy a str8 boy called Adam.  He is a total sex god and I'm gay.  Should I ask him out 2 see if he is gay or just neglect my feelings? Help me, Brian!

Dear Paul,
You say that Adam is straight, but then wonder if you should ask him out to see if he's gay.  It seems you are not sure of his sexual orientation, or perhaps you're so smitten with this sex god that you're engaging in wishful thinking, hoping against hope that he's available.  What evidence do you have that he's heterosexual?  Does he have a lot of girlfriends or a reputation as a stud among the ladies?  By the same token, is there anything in his behavior that would indicate that he's gay? 

Whatever his sexual orientation, it's obvious from your description of Adam as a "total sex god" that you want him and want him bad.  Should you neglect your feelings?  As long as Adam is of legal age and does not appear to be a queer basher, why not take the risk and ask him out?

Gay or straight, he may be available for a quickie if nothing else and you'll get at least some of the satisfaction you crave.
