"I joined Date.com to meet people in San Diego when I was still living in San Jose.  I was moving there to go to SDSU and wanted to find all the good places to go.  Both Craig and I clicked on pop up ads for Date.com.  Let it be known that he clicked on me!  I thought he was too old really, but his picture was pretty cute.  He contacted me, and we started emailing and chatting on instant messenger.  We decided to meet after about three weeks of talking all the time - so he picked me up and we went out to dinner.  We did not like each other at all the first time we met in person.  I thought he was arrogant and he thought I was a spoiled little girl.  But we did like talking online so we kept chatting and went out a few more times just as "friends."  Eventually we were able to share our real personalities online.  We've been together for over a year now and I love him more than I ever have.  Because we started as friends first just talking on here, he's my best friend and lover.  He originally lived in Vista and moved down here to the college area.  It's wonderful having him so close.  I never would have met him if it wasn't for Date.com."
