"I emailed Larissa after coming across her profile; hers was actually on the first page of profiles I looked at on Date.com. She seemed to have several qualities I was looking for, and I just figured I had nothing to lose, so I went ahead and emailed her. I did not really expect anything to even happen. Several weeks went by and I totally forgot about even emailing her. She eventually emailed me back, completely to my surprise. We began emailing nearly every day within a few weeks, and it was obvious that we both really enjoyed talking to each other and respected each others lives, values and beliefs. After emailing for four to six weeks I definitely knew that I wanted to meet her, although I was very hesitant about meeting someone over the Internet, even though Larissa seemed to be a very quality girl. I finally asked her if she wanted to meet, and was so glad to find out that she wanted to meet me as well. I drove up to meet her at a restaurant on a Saturday night and we hung out for several hours; we had a great time. I was so excited after our first date; I was completely dreamy the entire hour and a half drive home. We continued to spend more and more time together, seeing each other every weekend and meeting at a halfway point during the week as often as we could squeeze it in, even if we could only be together for an hour or two. We would do anything possible to just be able to see each other. We made every effort to not let distance get in the way, and it never did. We talked on the phone endlessly. Within three to four months I knew that I wanted to ask her to marry me and I began to look for a ring. In August, I asked her to marry me and I knew without a doubt that she would say yes. We married several months later and are now loving married life and being able to spend each and every day together."
