Jan. 12th: "We dated for a few months, beginning in October 2003. By the end of November 2003, I had decided to move to Florida to pursue a career opportunity. I wanted to keep things casual between us. I even thought about breaking it off to focus on my upcoming move but decided against it - Brian was just too great of a guy. So, the months quickly passed, and in January 2004 I left for Orlando, Florida. We had a tearful goodbye as I pulled out of his driveway. Soon after that, he came down to visit me for two weeks, spending Valentine's day together. We went to Disney's Magic Kingdom one day- I'd never been to Disney. We had a great day, and then watched the fireworks show together, me sitting in his lap. Later, while waiting for the place to clear out a bit, we were standing there in each others arms, and exchanged our very first "I Love You." Seeing him again made me realize how much he meant to me. As much as I wish I hadn't totaled my car, I think it's what started to bring us closer together. I wanted him to move to Florida, but he's a firefighter with nine years of seniority. If he moved to Florida, he'd have to start all over again. I couldn't ask him to give that up. So, despite the wonderful time I was having in Florida - great roommates, great job, great weather - I packed up and headed back to Michigan to be with him in March. We've been living together ever since, and couldn't be happier. We've even talked about marriage and kids. I'm not sure when that will all happen, but as long as I'm with him, that's all that matters. I wasn't really looking for even a steady boyfriend when I signed up with Date.com - I just wanted to meet people and have fun. I never expected to meet the love of my life!"
