Found an old Love
Firstly, as I read Becky12's letter initially, I thought it was coming from a gay MALE. But I don't know any males named Becky, so I assume it is a female. Either way, it makes no difference. There seem to be substantial feelings between these two, and your advice was certainly good. As the song goes "Love doesn't come in a minute ---Sometimes it doesn't come at all" When it does, we must recognize it and not lose the opportunity. So keep pursuing her Becky 12. Don't let up, and don't be discouraged. But also don't ever let her think you are pressuring her into a relationship. Keep it friendly --- platonic if necessary --- until SHE is ready to take the next step. She needs time to get over her past wounds. -Shorenude
