Where Do We Go From Here?
We can only hope... and yes I see much truth in your argument. Positive thinking is our trump card. - Allen
I think one of the last lines in this article should ring true in everyone's mind.” Gay rights are human rights, and are as American as apple pie." It just like the equal right for women that happened during the fifties. This is just apartheid and we need to work through this one step at a time. - Concerned American
Does the U.S president accept gays and lesbians? If not tell him goodbye.
I do hope your right about him at less given us civil unions would be better that none thing And I hope he has a plane to get us out of Iraq but I don't thing that going to happen.
I am extremely angry that this is still and issue here in this country.. I live my life openly and don’t really encounter any negative feedback about my sexual preference- at least not in my face- this article has made me remember that there's still a long way to go for equal rights for GLBT people and has encouraged me to seek out ways in which I can become part of an organization that can make a difference for the GLBT community. I am determined to speak to at least 1 person a day about the oppression and unfair treatment we receive just because of who we choose to love... - xaurelly
To be very honest I wish that we as a community would work together for a better cause- in stead of have a legal marriage - why not work to have the legal partnership? That way we will not upset the (Moral) majority - that’s a laugh- but seriously, most of modern Europe has such a thing. - ranhad
Gay rights are NOT human rights. GOD did NOT make us to have sex with the same sex. Also, if gays want to go to Canada to get married maybe they should stay there and make America a whole lot of a better place for kids to grow up.
