It's just a game. I know of guys who will ask for a number just for practice, so when they meet a girl they really like, and want to be smooth, they'll have it down. |

I always call when I say I will, because I wouldn't feel right if I didn't. I don't want to mislead them, so if I'm not interested, I just won't ask for their number. |

When a guy asks for a number, I think at the time they want to make the woman happy, and they do intend to call, but after the alcohol has worn off, they either realize that they weren't interested, or someone better caught their eye. |

Honestly, if I don't call, it's because I physically can't get to a phone, or something like a meeting is preventing me. I wouldn't ever lose a number, because I put them in my palm pilot. |
