7. Watch for red flags, such as lying, mood swings or excessive compliments.

8. Meet in the safest possible environment. Public places like coffee shops, restaurants.

9. Don’t drink too much. It impairs your senses, and you might make a bad impression.

10. Take extra caution outside your area. If traveling, it’s best to make a hotel reservation.
